 The United States spends nearly $100 billion to provide uninsured patients with health services, often for preventable diseases or diseases more efficiently treated with early diagnoses. This burden is shouldered by everyone. The need for health system reform that provides coverage and high-quality, affordable health care for all Americans is clear. The status quo is unacceptable.
Tell Congress to support reforms which:
• Expands coverage to all Americans through a choice of plans
• Promotes quality, prevention and well initiatives
• Curbs insurance industry practices that frustrate patients and physicians
• Repeals the flawed Medicare physician payment formula
